Yate Volunteer Centre The Volunteer Development Agency serving Yate and surrounding districts, as far afield as Pucklechurch and Downend, including the many rural villages in the area. Our overall aim is to promote, support and develop opportunities to help people become involved in volunteering in their own communities.
Patchway Filton and The Stokes We are the Volunteer Development Agency serving Patchway, Filton and the Stokes to promote volunteering within the local community, offer an information service to prospective volunteers about volunteering opportunities and to work closely with local community groups to enable them to find the help they need.
Thornbury Volunteer Centre covering the Thornbury area, providing brokerage between volunteers and organisations, training and volunteering information.
Bristol Volunteer Centre We are Bristol's Volunteer Development Agency promoting, supporting and developing opportunities for people to become involved in voluntary work. We are open for drop-in between 10 am and 12 noon and 12.30pm - 4.00pm Monday to Friday or ring 0117 989 7733 for an appointment.
Do-it The Do-it website is an on-line database of volunteering opportunities across the UK. It allows
- individuals to search for opportunities by postcode, type of organisation and type of volunteering role AND
- local groups and organisations registered with a Volunteer Centre can also choose to have their opportunity placed on the Do-it website for national coverage
Time Bank TimeBank is a national campaign to raise the awareness of the value of giving time and inspire a new generation of volunteers. This BBC supported campaign gives you the opportunity to share your time and skills with your community. The site allows you to register your details in order to receive a list of organisations in your area that need help, and which match your interests.
Chase Logo The Chase & Kings Forest Community Project: supporting voluntary and community activity in the Chase and Kings Forest areas of South Gloucestershire. We aim to advise, support and assist local community-based voluntary organisations - working in partnership with CVS South Gloucestershire, Volunteer Centres South Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire Community Engagement Team.
